# Container

Container is layout component that looks like [Embed](../../ui/index#embed-mode).

It can contain multiple subcomponents (taking the [general limit](../index#components) into account):

* [Text Display](../text-display/index);
* [Section](../section/index);
* [Separator](../separator/index);
* [Action Row](../action-row/index):
  * [Button](../button/index);
  * [String Select Menu](../string-select-menu/index);
  * [Entity Select Menu](../entity-select-menu/index);
* [Media Gallery](../gallery/index).

This component has the following settings:

* The **mdi-palette Icon** can change the color of the left bar;
* The **mdi-eye Icon** can toggle spoiler mode (the container's contents will be hidden and require clicking to view).

## Availability { #availability }

This component is only available for message templates in "Components" mode.

Specific component availability depends on the context. For example, select menus and non-link buttons are only
available for [Custom Commands](../../../cmd/custom/index).
